There really is only one "rule" here:

Don't post anything that graphically or obscenely involves a child.

Not to say that this is like the Wild Wild West, or that offensive profanity will be tolerated, but we're all adults with freedom of speech, and we all have to learn how to deal with things. If someone threatens you, contact the authorities. If someone is disrespectful, ignore them.

Some general guidelines, especially when dealing with polarizing issues are:

Treat others the way you want to be treated.

People reciprocate respect when given.

You don't always have to be right. It's probably not that important.

Emotions like anger are often viewed by others as an underlying fear.

The internet is "forever," and it's difficult to remove something.
